Reviews at the right moment: removing doubt (with WebwinkelKeur as example)
Reviews work best when they're exactly where someone makes a decision. Below you'll see where they help most, how to present them clearly and briefly, and what to track to see if it works. We use WebwinkelKeur as an example because it's widely used by Dutch webshops.
Where reviews make the difference
- Products/Services - 1-2 short quotes that match the product or service.
- Pricing - compact proof block next to your CTA: score + count + "verified".
- Shopping cart/Checkout - factual, without fluff; no long texts.
On blog/browsing pages it's less necessary; keep it subtle there.
Present reviews clearly and briefly
- At a glance: score + count + "verified".
- Relevant: choose examples that match page type and offering.
- Honest: use current, real reviews; avoid superlatives.
Examples of microcopy
- "4.8/5 from 200+ verified reviews" (adjust with your own numbers).
- Short quote: "Fast delivery and exactly as described."
- "Verified review via WebwinkelKeur."
Small combinations that often help
Product page
Reviews + WhatsApp (quick questions). Maybe a direct button to size chart/shipping info.
Checkout
Compact proof block next to order button + mini-FAQ (delivery/returns). No animations or auto-open.
What to track (simple)
- Leads/orders per page before/after showing reviews.
- Time-to-first-lead after activation on your most important pages.
- Comments in contact ("saw your reviews").
